I’d been eyeing this for a month or so and finally bit the bullet and bought it. I’ve had a hard time finding a nice gray lipstick that’s not liquid and doesn’t look more blue than gray. This is lovely and with a bit of work is nice and opaque and not uncomfortable on the lips. Also I really appreciated all the extras in my package. It was super sweet and a nice surprise. I look forward to purchasing more things from this brand!

As usual, MPZ does not disappoint. The photo is true to what the lipstick looks like, when applied deliberately. You can do a thinner layer, or, speaking of layer, add it over a black lipstick and get an amazing sheen.
SQALO! in lipstick form is pretty much multichromatic, ranging from grey and blue to pink and purple/lilac, and a dash of blueish green depending on the light.
On me, it needs more than one light swipe, because I’ve got rather reddish skin and lips, but it also looks gorgeously gray in many kinds of light. So basically, I got several lipsticks in the shape of one (as with the Trepanation lipstick; damn that one is perfect for eeeverything!).
The formula is like thick cream to me, it smells delicious and not too much, and my lips don’t go dry from it either! I can wear this all day long, reapplying after lunch, and not have to use a moisturiser in between (although I have been eyeing the MPZ moisturiser lip balm…).
